Adult Improv

Learn to think on your feet and take chances through improv. It may be one of the scariest things you’ll ever do, but also one of the most rewarding.

Winter Classes

Improv 101

Join us for our next 101 class where you’ll practice the ins and outs of improv and work on a “yes, and…” improv attitude. Learn to think on your feet, work as a team and laugh all along the way! Keep your eyes open for our next offering for adults.

Improv 301

Get familiar with long-form improv during this 10-week session taught by Josh McCune. Class is every Monday at 7:45 PM starting January 6th. Shows will take place Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th (times TBD). Please note, this class is only open to students currently enrolled in the adult improv program.

Learn by Doing

Our adult improv program will open you up to confidence, public speaking and feeling at ease with others, plus it’s really freaking FUN!  You may come in scared about trying something new and leaving your comfort zone.  But our experienced instructors know how to help you get over your nerves, get out of your head, and get into the moment. You’ll be so glad you did!

Yes, and...

In improv, you listen carefully to what’s being said so you can react appropriately. Saying “Yes, and…” means agreeing to what your scene partner just said and building on it to move the scene along. This philosophy helps people work together in a way that creates trust.

“Yes, and…” is the improv mantra. You should say YES to joining our adult improv program at LCA AND do something just for you!
