Musical Theater Workshop: Take a Bow I (K-1st Grade) Peter Pan
Sing, dance, and act your way over to Musical Theatre Workshop at Lights, Camera, Acting! Students will practice musical theatre in an imaginative, non-threatening, creative environment. We will sing selected songs, introduce choreography, and will act out scenes from the memorable musical PETER PAN. We will learn about the history of Peter Pan, practice vocal warm-ups and vocal self-care, and will put up a fun-filled performance for family and friends at the end of the session. Center Stagers (4th-6th Grade) Scene Study
4th-6th grade students will learn what it means to build characters and relationships with their scene partners in LCA’s Scene Study. They’ll begin to understand how to properly approach a scene and how actors work to discover character quirks, staging, and overall cohesiveness. Students will have the chance to contribute their own creativity and ideas into their scenes. This class will inspire fearlessness and self-confidence. There will be a fun-filled performance for family and friends at the end of the session that will take place at our studio location. All costumes are included in the cost of class. Intro to Long Form Improv (6th-9th grade)
Calling all teens! Improvisation is one of the most popular programs here at LCA, and this is your chance to take the fun to the next level with our Intro to Long Form class. Whether you’re a veteran improviser, or new to it, there’s a place for you in this class that runs throughout the summer. Long form improv develops technique and helps students to produce longer, more well-rounded scenes. This class will develop focus, acting ability, and lightning fast reflexes. Little Stars: Animal Adventure (3-5 years)
Does your child LOVE animals? Embark on an animal adventure at LCA this summer! We’ll play themed theater games, read stories, and step into the shoes of our favorite animals for this SPECIAL one day event! We’ll do crafts, play games, and will put together a special showcase for parents to enjoy at the end of the day. This is a half-day workshop. All costumes and props are provided. Price: $60

Let’s go fly a kite this summer at LCA! Enter the fantastical world of Mary Poppins this summer. We’ll sing classic songs from Mary Poppins and Mary Poppins Returns, do themed crafts, enjoy snacks, play games, and will put together a memorable showcase for parents to enjoy at the end of the day. A person’s a person no matter how small! Join LCA and put up this beloved story Horton Hears a Who. From the brilliant mind of Dr. Seuss, Horton is the only one can hear the inhabitants of Whoville on a speck of dust and must convince his fellow jungle friends that they exist!
